![]() And just like your two experiences that you note being poor, there are many, many more that work out well and without issue. And I often see posts from buyers unhappy because they didn't read how Mercari works and failed to act as needed by the rules laid out by the platform. In fact, many sellers lament that Mercari will only assist buyers and not sellers. I sell on a few platforms, and there are good and bad buyers and sellers are on them all. So I'm going to do that too because it doesn't matter if I pack the item like garbage and overcharge people for shipping, because Mercari allows it" sellers. What kind of sellers sell to cheap people or unaware people? The "I heard my buddy/youtuber talk about how he goes to Goodwill and flips stuff and how easy it is. Who's left buying things? And it's why I can sell a lot more at a much faster rate than on Mercari.Īgain, as a seller, it's the best and better than ebay - minus the lack of buyers. It makes ebay look like they know what they're doing in regards to buyer protections and satisfaction. Both times I had to get "support" involved, and both times "support" has sided with the seller because the seller didn't "technically" break any rules. ![]() As much as i've hated ebay through the years, it doesn't compare to the two horrible buying experiences I've had on Mercari, which is enough to learn to never use them again.
